Sue Walsmith, estate agent at Ewing & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty in Calabasas, specializes in representing residential real estate properties throughout the Greater San Fernando and Conejo Valley areas. She has a particular expertise working with communities on the west side of the San Fernando Valley such as Calabasas, Woodland Hills and Agoura.
Beginning her 19th year in real estate, Sue is a consistently hard worker and knows what it takes to be successful in the Southern California real estate market. Her number one goal is to alleviate stress for her clients whether they are buying or selling a home. With this in mind, she insists on giving them the utmost care and attention while ensuring that every detail is handled with efficiency and grace. Sue’s clients are so impressed with her level of service that they continually return to her and happily refer her on to countless friends, family and colleagues.
Sue has been a consistent top producer throughout her real estate career. In recognition of this success, she is granted top-producing awards on an annual basis and she has helped to create a training program to help new licensees starting their careers at Sotheby’s International Realty Real estate runs in Sue’s family. Her husband and three of her cousins are real estate brokers specializing in commercial property while yet another cousin is a well-known real estate attorney.
Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine art with a minor in design from California State University, Los Angeles. She leverages her vast knowledge of art and design when serving her real estate clients. She finds that it helps her to visualize a property’s potential regardless of the current décor.
A Southern California native, Sue and her family have lived in Calabasas for the past 15 years. She gives back to the local community in a variety of ways. Most notably, she is a charter member of the 21 Club: Women of the 21st Century, a non-profit dedicated to helping raise awareness and support for the Jewish Free Loan Association which is entering it’s 100th year as a source of interest-free loans on a non-sectarian basis to those in need.
